Once edge banding is complete, panels move to the drilling workstation. Using CNC six-sided drilling centers or multi-spindle boring machinery, connecting holes, dowel holes, and hardware slots are drilled with exact precision according to order specifications, preparing the panels for easy hardware installation.
Sorting: Robotic arms or manual operators sort and group panels and hardware accessories belonging to the same order item into dedicated production batches.
Trial Assembly: To guarantee flawless quality—especially for complex product designs—trial fitting is conducted to verify hole alignments, panel joinery, and smooth assembly flow.
Quality control inspectors meticulously examine panel dimensions, edge-banding tightness, hole positioning, and surface consistency. Approved panels are thoroughly cleaned to remove dust, wood chips, and adhesive residue.
